Manchester United manager Solskjaer have one foot in the semi-finals of the Europa League after the 2-0 away victory over their Spanish La Liga opponents in the first leg of their quarterfinal tie. Alongside Paul Pogba, Marcus Rashford and Luke Shaw didn’t finish the match as a result of injury.

On Paul Pogba, Solksjaer said the Frenchman had a niggle and that it was not a serious injury. The Manchester United midfielder is now expected to be fit for the big Premier League game with hosts Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.

For England international Rashford, the Manchester United manager said the 23-year-old had a little problem with his foot and that he should be fine for the forthcoming games. Rashford was a doubt for the Granada match on Thursday night after coming off with an injury during the league win over Brighton and Hove Albion at home last weekend.

Rashford was able to overcome the injury picked up against Brighton in time for the Granada game and the Manchester United Academy graduate even scored the opening goal of the game in the first half before Bruno Fernandes wrapped up the win from the penalty spot. He’s expected to recover again from his latest injury ahead of the Spurs game this weekend.

Shaw also went off with a small injury issue but the expectation is that the English left-back will play a part in the Spurs game on Sunday if needed.
